Laser Projector
This consists of the laser itself which generates the beam and the scanner which moves the beam around to generate the images or effects we see. All built into a metal housing which includes the power supply, electronics and cooling fans. This self-contained unit is compact, robust, easy to set-up and transport. Laser Technology offers a range from 200mw green laser to 10watt white light. The white light lasers produce the colour spectrum of up to16million colours.

Controller
As this implies it controls the laser and scanner to produce the beam shows, graphics, animation and effects. Centaur DMX is usually paired with lower power lasers and has pre-programmed text, effects, animations, graphics and patterns that can be very easily called up for shows at discos, nightclubs, presentations, smaller events and for theatrical effects. Very user friendly.

Screens
This may not be a screen in a conventional sense as lasers produce great effects by shining on and through the air, contaminants in the air cause the reflection, smoke, watermist or fog and even clouds. Lasers also work with walls, foliage, scrim (fine netting), rain curtains and, on a large scale, entire buildings. Mirrors and mirror balls are used to reflect beams for complex effects. However to tell a story or show complex animations at their best a screen is needed. Back projection allows the laser to project effects over the audience's heads for complex shows and excitement. Outdoors you can use a water screen which since it has no structure is not seen in daylight but at night can produce a huge screen which is still invisible until the laser hits it.
We have done a lot of R&D on our new water screens which to our admittedly biased eye is one of the very best. But don’t take our word discerning users and experts have endorsed this. By carefully integrating the hydraulics, flow characteristics, design and surface finish we have not only reduced the thickness and improved the smoothness and transparency but also saved a lot of power in the process.
